12 Years a Slave won the BAFTA for Best Film
Twelve Years a Slave is the best film of the year according to the British Academy Film Awards. The big winner of the ceremony, though, was Gravity which won a total of six awards.
BAFTAs, the precursor of Oscars, gave us a taste, this Sunday in London, of what we might see in this year’s Oscars which is the domination of Gravity, American Hustler and hopefully some awards will go to 12 Years a Slave.
The movie that I really like and want to see among the Oscar winners is Spike Jonze's Her. I hope the American academy will appreciate its originality and value contrary to what the British Academy did.
