12 Years a Slave won the BAFTA for Best Film


Twelve Years a Slave is the best film of the year according to the British Academy Film Awards. The big winner of the ceremony, though, was Gravity which won a total of six awards.

Paramount gave the OK for Aronofsky’s cut of Noah


 After being reluctant, Paramount agreed to release Darren Aronofsky’s cut of Noah for the theaters.

David Gordon Green’s (George Washington, Pineapple Express) new movie’s trailer is out, online. The movie is about an ex-con (Nicolas Cage) who is trying to avoid trouble, but he befriended a 15 year old boy (Tye Sheridan), who is being abused by his father.

Tupac biopic by John Singleton is going to happen!


According to Variety, Singleton is going to write, produce and direct a biopic about the late legend of hip hop Tupac Shakur.
